If I wanted to check out items at your store, here’s what would happen.
I’d go in to the store and inquire about any open cashier positions.
Then I’d fill out an application to be a cashier.
Then you’d look at my application to be a cashier.
Then you’d call me to come in for an interview to be a cashier.
Then I’d come in and interview to be a cashier.
Then you’d offer me the cashier job.
Then we’d discuss the cashier pay.
Then I’d accept the cashier job.
Then I’d fill out all the HR and tax forms for the cashier job.
And then we’d schedule my first day as a cashier.
Then, and only then, will I walk into your store and be a cashier. Until then, I expect an existing cashier to be in line when I walk through.
